Community Service & Volunteer Opportunities
OPCE has developed a variety of service opportunities that will enable you to gain hands-on-experience and engage with professionals in the field. Community and volunteer service experiences indicated on your resume and e-portfolio can increase your appeal to four year colleges and employers.

Employer  Information Session & Workplace & Industry Tours
OPCE works closely with faculty, Student Success Advocates and Career Strategists to coordinate employer information sessions and workplace and industry tours to help you explore career options in different industries.

Internships
OPCE works closely with faculty and Career Strategists to develop internships that will allow you apply your classroom knowledge in a professional setting, while helping you to focus on your career goals and acquire valuable job skills. Participation in internships will provide you with a competitive advantage over other students with limited practical work experience.

On-Campus Recruitment (OCR)
OPCE coordinates hiring events with different partners in order to ensure that you have access to employment opportunities. These events happen throughout the year and are open to Guttman students and alumni.

Part-time Employment Resources
OPCE has relationships with many local partners that often let us know about different employment opportunities. OPCE staff members are available to meet with you to create a job search plan and access professional opportunities that interest you.

Resumes and other professional documents are crucial in attaining success in your chosen field. The OPCE staff can assist you by appointment to review and edit your resume, cover letter and other professional documents.

Skill-building Workshops/Panels
OPCE offers a variety of career related workshops, including, resume writing, interviewing, and job search strategies in collaboration with your Student Success Advocate or Career Strategist. These workshops are designed to provide you up to date information to help with your career development.
