The Wellness/AccessABILITY Clinician, Melanie Downs, provides services, advocacy and support to students in all areas regarding disability and counseling related issues. She is available by phone, email, or office visit to answer your questions and to discuss your concerns.
Currently, the Wellness/AccessABILITY Clinician provides short-term, personal counseling services to assist you with problem solving, adjustment issues and other matters of personal concern that may interfere with your academic success at Guttman Community College. All counseling services are confidential.

Accommodations are not automatic and it is the student’s responsibility to request accommodations through the Wellness/AccessABILITY Clinician. Accommodations are based on documentation provided by the student. Please schedule an appointment with the Wellness/AccessABILITY Clinician prior to the start of the semester in order to make arrangements in a timely fashion. Wellness/AccessABILITY Services comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, which protect persons from discrimination on the basis of physical or mental impairments.
