City College to Host an Evening of Photography and Conversation with Guttman’s Tau Battice

The Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership at City College will host “Reflections, an Evening of Photography and Conversation” with Guttman Lecturer Tau Battice on Monday, November 18th. The event will mark the opening of an exhibit of Professor Battice’s work. He specializes in portraiture and creates visual ethnographies of the underrepresented African diaspora.

Professor Battice was born in Basseterre, St. Kitts-Nevis and lives in New York City.  He teaches Art, Humanities and English classes at Guttman.  He is also a lifelong lover of photography and its power to preserve the moment, proclaim nuance and propel humanity to positive action.

The event is free and takes place on November 18th from 4:30 to 6:00 pm, followed by a reception.
