Héctor Carvajal is demonstrating that famous Grizzly grit overcoming setbacks and hardships to make his mark in the highly competitive specialty coffee market in New York City. Signature items like his oat milk cold brew, sold in glass jars with a cinnamon stick inside, have people paying attention to Don Carvajal Café . Carvajal counts Brooklyn Borough president Antonio Reynoso and NYC Mayor Eric Adams among his customers, as well as prominent food journalists and boutique coffee shops.
While a student at Guttman, Carvajal served as President of the Student Government Association and we are proud of continued community-mindedness and leadership.
