We want to reassure you that Guttman Community College has reviewed the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as it relates to the appropriate recommendations for minimizing the spread of the virus.  As a result, all in-person admissions process-related events and campus visits are cancelled.

GrizzlyPath Live– this live is for students who have completed a CUNY application and have questions about the admissions process or what it is like to be a student at Guttman.  Students can learn how to complete their online information session via their GrizzlyPath.
Active Grizzly Live – this live is for students who completed an information session but have not completed the individual meeting. Students can chat with an AAPM about Guttman Community College and learn how to complete their online individual meeting via their GrizzlyPath.
Accepted Grizzly Live – this live is for students who have received an offer of admissions and have questions about Guttman Community College or wish to complete an online commitment form via their GrizzlyPath

Note: the admissions process will only be offered ONLINE.  Seniors interested in completing the admissions process are able to do so by logging into their GrizzlyPathAdmissions advisors will accommodate any reasonable requests to meet with students via telephone or webinars. Campus Visit/Tour

We welcome Campus Visits from high schools and community – based organizations.  Campus Visits are designed to allow counselors and their students to learn more about what makes Guttman unique and the resources available. Please visit our Campus Visit page for more information. Please note, only high school and/or CBO counselors are able to register for a Campus Visit.

Group Information Session/Tour

Applicants and prospective students are required to register and attend a group information session to be eligible for admissions. At our group information session, students will learn about our innovative educational model designed to enhance student academic achievement and the timely attainment of degrees.  Come learn about our exciting programs and meet members of our community. We look forward to seeing you!

Walk In

Prospective students can stop by to speak with an admissions advisor Monday through Friday between 9am to 5pm. During this visit, students will be able to discuss their questions and concerns pertaining to admissions. Please note, this visit does not include a tour. Students who apply to the college must register and attend a group information session which includes a tour. Be sure to visit our How to Apply page for more information.

Guttman Community College is located at 50 West 40th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues in midtown Manhattan.

Building hours while classes are in session:

  • Monday through Thursday: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Friday: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

CUNY summer schedule–starting last week in June through the second week of August:

  • Monday through Thursday: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Friday: Closed
  • Weekends: Closed

Bryant Park is right across the street and offers a beautiful place to study during the fall and spring. The park hosts a variety of activities throughout the year, from ice skating and a holiday market in the winter to juggling and tai chi in the summer.
