Mentorship

Guttman CC is committed to ensuring faculty members from diverse backgrounds receive meaningful resources and mentoring at all stages of their careers. The Dean of Faculty’s primary responsibility is to support and promote faculty excellence in the areas of teaching effectiveness, service and engagement, and research and scholarship. In partnership with the Faculty Personnel Committees and the Office of Academic Affairs, the Dean offers onboarding programs for new faculty; mentorship through the Reappointment, Promotion, and Tenure processes; and focused support for on and off-campus professional development activities, including grant-making, service work, and innovations in teaching and research.
