Guttman Community College has been selected as one of nineteen institutions nationwide to participate in The American Association of Colleges and Universities’ (AAC&U) development of a Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT)–Focused Campus Climate Assessment Toolkit. One of only three community colleges on the prestigious list, Guttman’s team will provide valuable insight regarding the opportunities and challenges of engaging in EDIB work on college campuses, and aid in the creation of a nationwide-toolkit that AAC&U will use to implement TRHT initiatives at other institutions.

Guttman Community College has been selected as one of four CUNY community colleges to participate in the Grow with Google Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Career Readiness Program to help Latinx students prepare for the workforce through digital skills and career workshops.
This year’s Salute to Graduates virtual ceremony honoring the Guttman Community College Class of 2021 will feature two distinguished guest speakers. Mr. Michael Lawrence Collins, vice president at JFF, and Mr. Joshua “J1” Raiford, Director of Hip Hop at Pandora and Program Director at SXM Pandora, will deliver their messages to graduating students during the June 17th ceremony, broadcast on YouTube at 2:00 pm.
