  • In November 2020, Guttman Community College recognized as the best two-year college in New York State according to Stacker, which culled data from Niche to find out the best community college in every state of the country.
  • In August 2018, the College was named the No. 1 community college in New York State by BestColleges.com.
  • Guttman Community College is proud to be designated a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) with nearly 60 percent of is student population identifying themselves as Latinx.
  • Guttman Community College has also been named among the top 15% of community colleges nationwide by the Aspen Institute. The Aspen Institute selected Guttman from a nationwide pool of nearly 1,000 community colleges as one of the nation’s top 150 community colleges for its outstanding achievement.
