Guttman Learning Outcomes (GLOs) encourage students to aim high and provide a framework for their entire college journey, connecting learning inside and outside the classroom. The GLOs reflect the College’s mission and embody its core learning values.
From the time they enter Guttman, students are required to engage with and demonstrate progress on the GLOs through their programs of study, general education courses and co-curricular experiences. The GLOs are intentionally embedded across the curriculum, from the First-Year Experience through completion of a degree program, and are assessed in both coursework and co-curricular contexts. Assessment findings are then used to continually strengthen teaching, learning and student success.
