Peer Leadership
The Peer Leadership Program is an integral component of the academic and co-curricular student experience at Guttman. Peer leaders help ease the transition from high school to college and coach students through their continued educational career. They’re visible, active and invested in the development of an inclusive, academically focused community.
- Peer leaders can be found throughout campus, but mostly in the Office of Student Life and the Atrium. Look for them during the Bridge Program, in first-year learning communities and at campuswide events.
- Peer leaders may also be wellness ambassadors or transfer mentors.
Leadership Academy
Fully realize your leadership ability. With a priority given to first year students, the Leadership Academy provides a series of eight workshops, such as Time Management & Goal Setting, Event Planning & Management and Identity Development & Intersectionality. Presented by faculty and staff, these workshops are designed to engage you in meaningful conversations and apply knowledge and leadership to your academic and personal lives.
Benefits:
- Increase your campus presence
- Expand your resume
- Enhance your professional skills
- Learn about leadership opportunities on and off campus
