As part of our commitment to transparency and ensuring that all members of our community are informed of their rights, we have attached a document outlining the Worker’s Bill of Rights and Local Law 161. This document includes essentia information regarding your rights, discrimination-free workplace, pay transparency and protections as part of the New York City workforce.

CUNY's Professional Development & Learning Program
CUNY’s Professional Development & Learning (PDL) Program (formerly known as PDLM), in collaboration with New York City’s Department of Citywide Administrative Services has brought back in-person courses! Please visit the new Spring 2024 PDL Course Catalog and review the topics offered.
Once you find a course or courses you would like to learn more about, please discuss it with your supervisor, complete a Spring 2024 Course Registration Form and submit a copy to HR for processing.

The Public Service Loan Forgiveness
The Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program forgives the remaining balance on your Direct Student Loans after you have made 120 qualifying monthly payments under a qualifying repayment plan while working full-time for a qualifying employer.
- Governor Hochul recently signed new legislation expanding access to public service loan forgiveness. The legislation will allow many Adjuncts to meet the eligibility requirement.
- The Office of Human Resources is responsible for completing the employment verification for prior and current employees who are seeking Public Service Loan Forgiveness. If you would like to request a PSLF verification to be completed, please reach out to Nicole Paige at Nicole.Paige@guttman.cuny.edu.
- If you are going to email your completed PSLF application, please do not include your social security number on your form. If you plan to upload your completed application, please reach out to Nicole for a link to an HR secure upload webpage.
