Brightspace
Brightspace by D2L is a learning management system (LMS) that supports teaching and learning across all course modalities. It’s where you’ll access course materials, submit assignments, take quizzes, participate in discussions, and more. Instructors use Brightspace to enhance in-person teaching or to deliver fully online and hybrid courses. With its user-friendly interface, Brightspace is designed to help you stay organized and engaged with your coursework

Self-Paced Online Learning Course
All enrolled students will have access to the Are You Ready? Student Online Learning Course in Brightspace (listed under “Organizations”). The course takes approximately 60 minutes to complete and will help you:
- Gain awareness of key strategies and resources for successful online learning
- Become acquainted with essential CUNY digital platforms that will aid your academic path
- Understand how to navigate and use essential Brightspace tools
- Learn about the required technology tools for effective online learning
- Understand the Digital Citizenship principles and apply ethical practices to maintain academic integrity in the online learning environment
- Identify when and how to use AI tools in your courses by understanding your instructor’s guidelines and using them responsibly
Additional Support & Information
- Brightspace Support is available 24/7/365. Through Lumi Chat, anyone logged into Brightspace can reach a support agent at any time.
- Dedicated CUNY toll-free number (TFN) for Brightspace end user support: 1-888-895-2511.
- If your instructor has not yet made their course active in Brightspace, it will not be visible in your “My Courses” widget.
- Emails from Brightspace will be sent to your preferred email address in CUNYfirst. To change your preferred email address to your campus email address:
- Log into CUNYfirst with your CUNY login credentials.
- Click on “Student Center.”
- Click on “Profile.”
- Click on “Contact Details.”
- Click on your campus email address, select the “Preferred” checkbox, and click “Save.”
Navigate360
Navigate360 by EAB is a student success management system that connects students, faculty, and staff through a coordinated care network. It enables you to schedule appointments, receive feedback on your academic progress, explore campus resources, and more. Navigate360 provides you with the tools and insights to stay on track and connect with the people and resources best equipped to help you succeed.

- Data in Navigate360 is pulled from CUNYfirst nightly. Any changes made to your record will be reflected in Navigate360 the following day.
