Through our Career Innovation Hub, Guttman has partnered with Henry Street Settlement to provide an undergraduate cybersecurity certificate program that is purposefully crafted to meet the evolving needs of the industry while providing educational pathways for enhanced job opportunities, increased earning potential, educational advancements and promising career trajectories.

Your success depends on your engagement and attendance. Participants are expected to maintain attendance as defined by the faculty member. It is essential to actively engage in all learning modules and complete assignments to advance through the program.
Our program offers a flexible learning experience through a hybrid class format. This means that we provide a combination of in-person and remote classes, allowing you to choose the format that best suits your needs.
To find out the specific schedule and class offerings, we recommend speaking with a staff member who will provide you with details on which days of the week are designated for in-person instruction and which ones are conducted online/remotely. They will be able to guide you and ensure you have the necessary information to plan your studies accordingly.

Program Costs
There are no textbook costs; most courses use open educational resources.
We offer a laptop lending program that will provide you with cybersecurity-equipped laptops and software.
Our program tuition is separate from the industry credentials. Henry Street scholars may receive a financial aid award to support them in attaining industry credentials. Industry credentials include:
- ITIL, $314 – $460
- CompTIA Network+, $338
- CompTIA Security+, $392
- CompTIA A+ (2), $492 ($246 per exam)
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), $950 to $1,199
- CompTIA CySA+, $392
Requirements
A high school diploma or high school equivalency (e.g., GED, TASC) is a prerequisite for participation.
The cybersecurity field embraces individuals from diverse backgrounds. Our identified pathway does not require prior industry-related skills or advanced math literacy. However, developing and expanding your skill set in communication, problem solving, organization and basic computer literacy skills is of utmost importance.

Transfer Opportunities
You will receive 33 transferrable credits upon completing program. These credits can be applied to continuing your educational journey at Guttman or any other CUNY college.
Transferring to SUNY and private colleges is dependent on the colleges’ approval. Guttman will work with you to assist in transferring credits.
