Sabrina Qiu
Sabrina Qiu is a first-year Human Services major at Guttman, deeply committed to the growth and well-being of her community. Throughout her time at Guttman, Sabrina has developed a strong connection to the student body and is driven by a desire to represent her peers as SGA President. Her leadership style is defined by empathy, open-mindedness, and a proactive approach to addressing student needs. Sabrina aims to promote student-led initiatives and foster stronger ties between clubs, organizations, and the student body to create a more unified campus experience.
Sabrina’s vision for SGA includes establishing an accessible platform where students can voice their concerns and proposals, ensuring that feedback is regularly reviewed and acted upon. Her goal is to create a collaborative, student-driven experience that reflects the diverse and dynamic nature of Guttman. With her passion for community and dedication to service, Sabrina is ready to lead Guttman students into a future shaped by their ideas and aspirations.

Isaac Manwaring
Isaac Manwaring is a first-year Science major with a deep passion for photography and wildlife. With five years of photography experience under his belt, Isaac serves as the president of the Guttman Media Group (GMG), a newly established organization dedicated to capturing campus life through the lens. Isaac’s involvement in campus events and his expertise in photography, from creative portraiture to street and wildlife photography, make him a well-rounded candidate for Vice President.
In addition to his artistic talents, Isaac is skilled in public relations, time management, and organization. His commitment to documenting and enhancing the Guttman experience through media, combined with his leadership skills, positions him as an effective advocate for students. As Vice President, Isaac hopes to bring his creativity and dedication to the forefront, helping to build a more engaged and visually vibrant community.

Trixie Johnson
Trixie Johnson is a Human Services major in her second semester at Guttman, hailing from the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Outside of her studies, Trixie is an avid crocheter and a self-proclaimed Star Wars enthusiast. She has a deep love for animals and has a dog named Curly. Trixie’s passion for helping others is evident in her involvement in the Stonewall, Gaming, and Dungeons & Dragons clubs, where she holds leadership positions.
Trixie’s compassionate nature and willingness to lend a listening ear make her a strong candidate for Senator. She is eager to support her peers and contribute to the Guttman community by fostering inclusivity and ensuring that everyone has a voice.

Brandon Harding
Brandon Harding is a Business Administration major from Staten Island with a passion for sports, specifically basketball. A self-proclaimed Golden State Warriors fan, Brandon draws inspiration from Stephen Curry’s work ethic and leadership. He is proud of his Jamaican heritage and strives to spread positivity wherever he goes. Brandon’s dedication to personal growth, fitness, and helping others is evident in his active lifestyle, which includes home workouts and gaming.
With a career goal in sports marketing, Brandon’s enthusiasm for his major aligns with his desire to bring innovative marketing strategies to the Guttman community. As Marketing Director, he aims to elevate the visibility and reach of student initiatives, ensuring that the student body stays informed and engaged in campus life.
Senators
Daniel Bloch
Daniel Bloch is a first-year Business Administration student at Guttman, passionate about enhancing the college experience for his fellow students. Despite being new to the campus, Daniel has already embraced the community, finding joy in connecting with people through shared interests in music, sports, and movies. His commitment to ensuring that every student feels valued and engaged on campus is at the core of his campaign. Daniel is eager to bring his enthusiasm and dedication to the Student Government Association, working to meet the needs of all students while fostering an environment where everyone can enjoy their time at Guttman to the fullest.
Daniel believes in the power of community and aims to use his leadership to enrich the student experience. As a candidate for SGA President, he is ready to listen, learn, and act on behalf of his peers. His approachable nature and genuine care for the campus will guide him as he advocates for student needs and works to create a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere at Guttman.
Kayla Gowins
Kayla Gowins is a sophomore Science major at Guttman, with aspirations of becoming a Radiologist. Raised in a single-parent Caribbean household, Kayla is driven by her desire for success and her commitment to making her family proud. Her curiosity extends beyond her academic pursuits, as she enjoys learning about different cultures, foods, and music. Kayla’s love for cultural diversity shapes her interactions with others and enhances her understanding of the world around her.
As a Senator candidate, Kayla hopes to continue learning from her peers while advocating for student interests. Her passion for education, combined with her love of cultural exchange, makes her an approachable and thoughtful leader within the Guttman community.
Randy Cazado
Randy Cazado is a 26-year-old Liberal Arts major with a focus on Social Science and Psychology. Originally from the Bronx, Randy is a transfer student from Hostos College and has a strong desire to make a difference within his community. Outgoing and approachable, Randy enjoys meeting new people and bringing out the best in them. In addition to his academic pursuits, he is starting to play the piano again and enjoys reading in his free time.
Randy’s interest in human behavior and societal dynamics drives his goal to make meaningful connections and positively impact the Guttman community. As a Senator, he hopes to bring fresh perspectives and creative solutions to student issues, all while fostering a supportive and welcoming environment for his peers.
Ibrahim Nabassin
Ibrahim is a determined student from Takoradi, Ghana, where community expectations are high, and education is taken seriously. As the eldest of three boys, Ibrahim is on track to become the first in his family to graduate from college. His perseverance in the face of academic challenges is a testament to his work ethic and dedication to his education. Ibrahim is passionate about politics, particularly how countries handle important issues like finances and healthcare, and he enjoys engaging in conversations about global and U.S. political affairs.
As a Senator candidate, Ibrahim is committed to using his experiences to inspire others and represent their interests. His unique background, combined with his drive to succeed, positions him as a thoughtful and hardworking advocate for the student body.

Jonathan Erazo
Jonathan Erazo is a 20-year-old Bronxite who majors in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Social Science and Humanities. While facing struggles both academically and personally during his second term here at Guttman, Jonathan is now working around the clock to get himself back to being a scholar. Whilst doing so, He intends on making Guttman better for the student population, and help increase the amount of student engagement here on Campus to ensure that this semester is memorable for all the students he represents
Since being the 2023-2024 Stella Award Recipient, Jonathan has shown that he is one of the most engaged students here on campus. If you need help adjusting to college life, a cheer me up, or overall, a great friend you’ll find that in Jonathan. His plan after Guttman is to transfer to 4-year CUNY to pursue his passion for education. He has his sights on becoming a high school history teacher or becoming a professor here in CUNY.
Overall, if you see him around Campus, make sure to say hi and introduce yourself to him. He is always ready to meet new friends on his academic journey and will more than willing to be your advocate for you and your peers to “Make Guttman Lit Again”
